CLOSING NOTE

To our beloved community; 

You may have noticed we’ve been quieter than normal and for good reason. It is with enormous pride and a sprinkle of bittersweet that we let you know Common Heir has found a new home. 

In early 2020, two complete strangers met over chai lattes in breezy Santa Monica and decided it was time to disrupt an industry we both loved dearly but didn’t see ourselves or values represented in. 

Unbeknownst at the time, days later the pandemic would force us all into a new normal. With the uncertainty of the pandemic swirling around us, we found an anchor in our shared vision and deep conviction that it was time to reimagine the future of luxury beauty. That’s how Common Heir was created. 

Over the past 4 years, we’ve worked tirelessly to create a brand grounded in doing things the right way. You know us now as the go-to for hyper-inclusive, hyper-sustainable and award-winning skincare designed to be safe and effective for all, not just some. 

Now Common Heir is embarking on a new chapter. We’ll be transitioning the brand as you currently know it. As founders, we’ve decided to continue our mission in a new way and as soon as we can share more details about what’s to come, we will!

 

None of the success we’ve achieved would have been possible without each and every one of you and for that we are eternally grateful for your unwavering support and love over the years. 

From those first creators who took Zoom calls with two women on a mission, to Credo who took a bet before we even launched, the investors and vendors who saw the same future we did, the community that entrusted us with your skin journeys, to Heyday for being one of our biggest cheerleaders, the PR teams and journalists who helped us tell our stories beautifully, our families and friends who were along for the ride and lastly, to every single person who had a hand in any part of making Common Heir a reality — especially, Esther, Adyel, Kelly, Josie, Semira, Katherine, Lisa, Emily, Dien, Alyssa, Priya, Chethana, Joe, Wilson, Kelsey, Lux, Morgan, and Courtney, and countless others.
